Open theatre auditions - all roles - Jack the Ripper. Brixham.

If you wish to audition, all auditionees are required attend the auditions in person, either on the main audition day, or if unavailable on Aug 16th , to contact us to arrange a separate audition at mutual convenience between Aug 2nd and Aug 16th.

Please bring a completed audition form, a pen, your diary, and wear comfortable clothing.

Casting ALL roles in this dark drama based on researched history and theories about the idenity and motives of Jack the Ripper. 

Powerful male & female roles for actors aged 16-80.
Any ethnicity welcome.
All levels of experience welcome.

We are looking for lovely people who want to be part of a great quality show tour & theatre team.

The show is touring to a variety of theatres,& community venues across Devon  plus streaming online.
Actors must be based in the Devon area because of the need to attend rehearsals and performances in the South Devon region.
As things stand at time of writing all actors will receive an equal share of money made from ticket sales for the performances (inclusive of streaming), as well as location-based character photoshoots, copies of all press featuring you, videos for show/ demo-reels, and references.

For those newer to acting; all credits with us (whether profit-share or "proper" rate) count towards Spotlight registrations allowing newer actors to professionally register and then apply for agents and bigger castings. The payments (however much it is) can also count towards your Equity membership application.

Rehearsals for this show take place on Wednesdays 7pm - 9/ 9.30pm, and Sundays 1pm - 4 / 4.30pm at Chestnut Community Centre, 1-3 Poplar Close, Brixham, TQ5 0SA.

Violent scenes will be choreographed by our experienced in-house fight choreographer.

A drama telling the tale - and some of the theories - behind the notorious 19th century London serial killer, Jack The Ripper. Heavily researched drama based on factual events, and presented in a steampunk styling.
